I think grabbing a bite from a local café before entering the castle is a good idea. The on-site options were a bit pricey and the food was just okay.

If you can, visit on a weekday instead of the weekend. The crowds can get pretty wild, which makes exploring the castle harder.

Take a stroll in the Sempione Park right next to the castle. It's a beautiful place to relax and it’s free – perfect for a break after exploring!
