Top Nature in Milan

If you can, visit around 8 am to enjoy the quiet before the crowds roll in. It’s the perfect time to take beautiful photos without people everywhere.

Check out the little petting zoo near the castle. It's not huge but totally cute and my kids loved it! It was a nice surprise.

Grab a gelato from a nearby cafe before you enter; it's perfect for enjoying while you stroll through the park!

Look for the little free art exhibits scattered throughout the gardens; they’re a nice surprise and add to the experience

I suggest bringing binoculars! The flamingos are behind a fence and bushes, so you'll want a little help to get a closer look without feeling too much like a stalker.

If you're short on time in Milan, I think you can skip Palazzo Invernizzi unless you really love birds. It's cool but not a must-see sight!
