Bring a reusable water bottle! There are plenty of refill stations, and it saves you from constantly spending on drinks.

Greenwich Royal

If you're tight on cash, the grounds are great to explore and free! You can still enjoy the views without paying for everything inside.

I suggest getting there around 10 AM. The place opens at 10:00, and you'll beat the worst of the crowds. Around noon, it gets super busy!

Try to avoid weekends if possible. It gets packed, and I thought it was hard to see some of the exhibits with all the people around.
Greenwich Park

Don't forget to check out the deer park area! I nearly missed it, but seeing the little deer in that natural setting was a real treat in the middle of the city.

I suggest taking a free walking tour if you’re up for it. You get unique insights about the park and its history! Just tip the guide whatever you think is fair.

Make sure you check the weather before you go; it can change quickly! I went on a sunny day but got caught in a quick shower, so bring a small umbrella just in case.

If you're planning on grabbing a coffee or snack, check out the cafe near the rose garden. Prices were reasonable and the view was lovely, much better than the kiosks!
Kensington Gardens
