My advice is to check the surf report before you go. Certain times of the year, the waves are way too big for beginners. I got lucky, but you might not!

If you're a newbie, defintely opt for the beginner class. The instructors are super chill and really know how to get you standing on your board fast! You won’t regret it.

I suggest getting a package deal if you plan on surfing more than one day. It saves you some bucks and the more you surf, the better you get!

I recommend checking the surf conditions in advance. I didn't do that, and my first session had terrible waves for beginners. Ask the staff, they're super helpful!
