My advice is to bring a light jacket even if it’s sunny in town. It can get surprisingly cold on the train, especially in the higher elevations

I think if you can, sit on the left side of the train for the best mountain views. I missed some great photo ops sitting on the right!

Bring a light jacket, even in summer. The air conditioning can be pretty chilly once the train gets moving, and you might regret not having it.

Bring a picnic! There are lovely spots in the park area where you can enjoy your snacks during the stop, and it’s way cheaper than the café.

I think it's totally worth riding Angels Flight both ways! The views are so lovely, and it gives you a chance to snap photos from different angles. Plus, you'll get the full experience of this historic funicular.

If you can, try to sit on the left side of the train for the best views as you go up through the mountains. My advice is to switch seats during the ride so you experience both sides!

I think you should aim for a midday departure around noon. The lighting for photos is much better, and you'll get to experience the sunset while coming back, which was a highlight for us!

I suggest taking the earlier train around 10 AM. Parking fills up fast, and I ended up walking a bit. Plus, the morning light is perfect for photos of the beautiful countryside!
