Milan Cathedral
Use the free audio guide available through the official app. I found it really helpful to learn about the history while wandering around without needing a tour guide.
Gallery of Victor Emmanuel II
Giuseppe Meazza
Arco della Pace
My advice is to combine your visit with a walk through Sempione Park. It’s right behind the arch and a beautiful place to unwind after exploring.
Gae Aulenti Square
Como Cathedral
Santa Maria della Grazia
Royal Palace
If you can, get there around 3 PM. The late afternoon light in the courtyards is gorgeous for photos, and the crowds start to thin out, so you can explore more freely.
I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can – it was way less crowded when I went on Tuesday. Weekends seem packed with tourists, making it hard to really enjoy the place.
Colonnade of San Lorenzo
If you’re into history, look up some interesting facts about the colonnade before your trip. It'll make your visit much more engaging.
If you can, go on a weekday morning around 9 AM. It’s way less crowded and you can snap some great pics without people in the way.
My advice is to stay until sunset. The lighting makes the whole place look magical, and you can capture some fantastic images!
