I suggest checking out the beach mid-morning around 10 AM; that's when the sun isn't too fierce but you're still catching the good vibes. Trust me, I wish I’d done that instead of frying under the noon sun!

My advice is to explore the local food scene—skip the tourist traps near the beach. Check out small eateries in town for authentic meals at better prices

Try to negotiate prices for surf lessons and rentals; I saved a bit doing this. Most instructors are friendly and willing to strike a deal!
