Fox Cigar Bar Scottsdale

My advice is to ask the staff for their favorites - they know their cigars and can point you towards some hidden gems you might not pick otherwise.

I suggest stopping by around 5 PM to snag a good spot, it gets packed later on and you don’t want to miss out on the vibe.
I think you should bring cash for tips, as it speeds things up. Some places can be slow with the card machines, and you wouldn’t want to wait when you’re ready to chill!
Puro Cigar Bar
Talking Stick Resort

I think the buffet is worth it for dinner, but skip it for breakfast. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast selection for the price, but dinner was fantastic!

I suggest arriving around 3 PM to avoid the crowds. That way, you can enjoy more of the facilities without the noise and hustle of peak times.

If you're planning to play slots a lot, grab a Player's Club card. It gave me some nice perks and offers that really helped with costs during my visit.
Grand Canyon Skywalk

I would suggest bringing some snacks or a packed lunch. The dining options were okay, but pricey. Plus, having your own food made the day more enjoyable.

I think the views are incredible, but don’t forget to take a break from taking photos and just soak it all in. Enjoy the moment! No filter necessary.

Don’t forget your camera for those epic shots. But make sure you know there’s no photography allowed on the Skywalk itself, which was a bummer.

I suggest you go early in the morning around 8 am. It was way less crowded then, and the sunrise views were stunning! Totally worth it.
Mather Point
Check out the visitor center first. They've got great exhibits and can help you map out the most efficient route to maximize your time.

Consider catching the shuttle from the visitor center. Parking can fill up, and the shuttle is a stress-free way to get around the canyon.

Get there at sunrise if you can; the colors are stunning and you'll avoid the crowds that build quickly. It's worth the early wake-up!

Bring a refillable water bottle; the prices for drinks are steep inside the park. There's a water station nearby to help you stay hydrated.
Yavapai Point

If you're not into heavy hiking, stick to the paved pathways leading from the observation deck. They're just as stunning, and you won’t end up exhausted before lunch!

If you want to avoid the bathroom lines, hit the ones near the observation area before 10 AM. After that, it gets chaotic, especially with families coming in!

My advice is to bring some snacks and water. The café nearby was super overpriced, and there aren't too many options unless you go back to the village.
Hopi Point

Get there at sunrise, around 6:00 AM, for stunning views and fewer crowds. Watching the sunrise at Hopi Point was pure magic and a much better experience than later in the day.

Pack a picnic to enjoy while soaking in the views. There's nothing better than having lunch with a perfect Grand Canyon backdrop. Just make sure to bring some trash bags to keep the place clean
Holbert Trail to Dobbins Lookout

Bring plenty of water, especially if you’re hiking during midday. I thought I packed enough, but I ran out before getting back. Staying hydrated is super important!

Check the weather before you go. The day I visited it unexpectedly got windy and it was a bit chilly at the lookout. Dressing in layers saved me!

Make sure to wear good hiking shoes. I didn't and my feet were sore by the end. Having that grip makes a big difference on those rocky parts, trust me!
Hoover Dam Lookout

Definitely plan your visit for around 8 AM or after 4 PM to avoid the heat and crowds. Trust me, the views are just as stunning without the midday sun baking you.

If you can, check out the visitor center first. You’ll gain some really interesting context about the dam that makes seeing it much cooler – I learned stuff I didn't expect!

Don’t forget your camera! The views from the lookout are incredible, but also consider getting down to the dam for some unique angles. It's a short walk down.
